Our Shipping Process
NOTE: For in-stock items, orders placed by 12 PM EST (9 AM PST) will ship the same day.
When processing your order, your Sales Representative will determine the most cost-effective and expedient way to ship your order to you. In-stock items are shipped on the same day if ordered by 12 PM EST (9 AM PST). Most other orders are shipped within 24 to 72 hours, except international and bulk orders, as well as special custom items. Customers may use their own FedEx account to pay, or may prepay shipping costs. Shipping is FOB Boca Raton.
All orders are shipped with FedEx, according to the products’ temperature requirements. Extra shipping charges will apply to temperature-sensitive orders. Frozen products are generally shipped on dry ice or pink ice by overnight air service. Our Shipping Department uses custom-designed, insulated shipping containers to maintain an adequate shipping temperature.

At Akron Biotechnology, LLC, our Customer Service Department is available to help you, should a problem occur. Please inspect your packages immediately upon receipt, and alert us promptly of any damage or discrepancies. If a product was shipped to you incorrectly, as the result of an error on our part, we will take immediate action to correct the problem. The correct product will be shipped to you, and shipping costs will be waived.
Before returning any product, please contact the Customer Service Department at 561-750-6120 (option #1) to obtain return shipping instructions and a Return Material Authorization (RMA). An RMA will ensure the safe and proper handling of material, and enable us to complete the return promptly and efficiently
Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted. Please note that we will accept the shipment of authorized returns only if the return shipment is made within thirty (30) days of purchase. Not all items will be authorized for return. Items authorized by return must arrive at our facilities in a state satisfactory for resale to be eligible for product credit. Incorrectly ordered items will be subject to a restocking fee and return and replacement shipping charges. Shipping charges previously charged will not be credited.
We will do our best to fulfill requests for return material. However, in order to maintain the quality of our products and continue to provide competitive prices, certain products may not be returned for credit. These items may include: reagents, refrigerated or frozen products, custom products or special offers, products missing labels, or any product that is not in its original packaging.
