"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." - Henry Ford Quote Dr. Zylberberg, at Akron Biotech, we are committed to manufacturing and marketing bio-tools and high-end stem cell culture products under cGMP for the regenerative medicine community. By participating in the World Stem Cell Summit, we are able to strengthen our commitment and gain valuable insight into the industry through sharing unique ideas and forging successful collaborations.
The World Stem Cell Summit is the largest stem cell event in North America which presents the work of the industry's experts and educators, including laboratories and advocacy groups, in a way that is easily understood by the community. The Summit covers a vast number of topics such as regulatory pathways, stem cell studies, financing, venture capital and economic development. It provides attendees with an opportunity to interact with the world's leaders in stem cell technology. With so many breakthroughs and new therapies in the stem cell arena, this is a very important event to educate the public on the importance of stem cells.
"I had the privilege to be one of the many renowned speakers at the World Stem Cell Summit 2010 in California which had an attendance of about 1,400 from all over the world, where we interact to share the success, the innovation and the challenges of this young industry" said Dr. Zylberberg. The State of Florida has made a strong commitment to the bioscience industry and has developed groups such as BioFlorida, Banner Centers for Life Sciences, among others and brought first class science to this geographic region. The state has developed initiatives to provide investment opportunities and incentives for biotech companies to move their operations to Florida, or to companies such as Akron to grow in this area. The stem cell industry is growing at a fast pace, and it is becoming part of healthcare initiatives, the Summit would provide us with worldwide exposure and strengthen Florida's role and interaction in the bioscience industry.
