Human Placenta Growth Factor-1 | 2ug 10ug 1mg |
Description: Placenta Growth Factor-1 is a homodimer. It is a glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 2 x 131 amino acids.
Molecular Mass: 29,700 Da (by non-reducing SDS-PAGE migration).
Formulation: Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution containing BSA
Purity and Identification: Purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Amino acid Sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Met-Leu-Pro-Ala-Val.
Biological Activity: The ED50 is determined by its ability to bind to immobilized rh-sFlt-1 in a functional ELISA. Rh PlGF-1 can bind to immobilized rh-sFlt-1 (100 ng/well) with a linear range at 0.5 – 10 ng/mL.
Source: Insect cells
Physical State of the Product: Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor 1 in sterile 20mM acetic acid not less than 100µg/ml. It can then be further diluted in other aqueous solutions.
Stability and Storage: Lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor 1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18ºC. Upon reconstitution PLGF1 should be stored at 4ºC between 2-7 days. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) and store below -18ºC.
Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Customized sizes upon request.
Usage: For research use only. Not for use in diagnostics or therapeutic procedures.
