Human Placenta Growth Factor-2 | 2ug 10ug 1mg |
Synonyms: PIGF, PGF, PLGF-2, PlGF-2
Description: rh Placenta Growth Factor-2 produced in insect cells is a homodimer. It is a glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 2 x 152 amino acids.
Molecular Mass: 44,000 Da
Formulation: Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution containing BSA.
Purity and Identification: purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Greater than 80.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Biological Activity: The ED50 is determined by its ability to bind to immobilized rh-sFlt-1 in a functional ELISA. Rh PLGF-2 can bind to immobilized rh-sFlt-1 (100 ng/well) with a linear range at 0.3 – 10 ng/mL.
Source: Insect cells.
Physical State of the Product: Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor-2 in sterile 20mM acetic acid not less than 100µg/ml. It can then be further diluted in other aqueous solutions.
Stability and Storage: Lyophilized Placenta Growth Factor-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18˚C. Upon reconstitution PLGF-2 should be stored at 4˚C between 2-7 days. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) and store below -18˚C.
Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Customized sizes upon request.
Usage: For research use only. Not for use in diagnostics or therapeutic procedures.
