MycoSolutions ™ Detection Kit is designed to reveal the presence of mycoplasma as a contaminant in biological materials, such as cultured cells. The product is an optimized ready-to-use PCR Detection Kit so that mycoplasma can be easily detected by verifying the bands of amplified DNA fragments in an electrophoresis gel.

MycoSolution™-1, MycoSolution™-2, MycoSolution™-3 are antibiotic formulations designed to treat Mycoplasma contaminated cultures. The contamination of cells with mycoplasma is a very common problem, even thoughit often goes unnoticed since no cloudiness appears in the cell culture. Nevertheless the contamination often causes biochemical changes as well as changes in the immunological properties of the cells. Since mycoplasma-infected cells cannot always be discarded, many complicated methods have been suggested for the elimination of the mycoplasma.
